Urgent applications and Interim Orders

Certain matters may be urgent and an application can be lodged for the matter to be heard quickly by the Court. An urgent application might be for:

• the sale of the former family home,
• the sale of an asset,
• the payment of a liability,
• exclusive occupation of the former family home,
• one partner to continue to make mortgage payments, or
• protection and preservation of assets.
